Biography: Spencer McDonald hails from Beverly Hills, California, the Gucci capital of the world where movie stars actually live, dine, and shop.

The nephew of a top Beverly Hills hairdresser during the 1980’s, he engorged himself in wild hair, punk rock music, and talented filmmakers like John Hughes.

Inspired to become a rule-breaking screenwriter, he dedicated himself to learning the rules so that he might break them more fully and artistically through the comedy of drama.

Forced to take a slave-job in the aerospace industry in order to feed his young family, he turned his attention to screenwriting and story telling, writing his first feature length script on the toilet at work.

That script wasn’t very good and actually got the flush. However, his second screenplay, BAD THERAPY, turned out great. This comedic thriller tells a story of a Loan Officer at the end of his ropes, snaps, and winds up getting help from an oddball psychiatrist who leads him astray. In the end, the Loan officer turns his bad luck into heroism. Recently, he just signed a contract to have this produced in Bollywood by an up and coming producer.

There is no sleep for the weary. He has jumped right into the next winning script, FLIPPING MAD, a revenge comedy about an environmentalist who gets her life ruined by an obnoxious real estate house flipper and winds up beating him at his own game and steals his title as King of the Flip.

Spencer lives in Seattle.
